About - Dr. Sean Satey, MD

Academic Excellence

Dr. Sean Satey, a Los Angeles, California native, attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) as he completed his pre-medicine studies and earned an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree with high honors distinction. Dr. Satey continued his education at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWU) where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) with completion of the rigorous Research Track. His passion for leadership led him to be nominated and elected as the GWU Treasurer and President of the Surgery Interest Group, three years consecutively. In addition, Dr. Satey authored numerous surgical research projects which were presented nationally.

Comprehensive Surgical Training

With a strong passion in surgery, Dr. Satey completed a rigorous five year general surgery residency program at the University of California Riverside – Riverside University Health System (UCR) with emphasis in trauma, critical care, and minimally invasive surgery. Amongst being honored as the UCR Intern of the Year, Dr. Satey authored two book chapters in vascular and robotic surgery, and countless abstracts and publications during his training. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Satey received Board Certification by the American College of Surgeons/American Board of Medical Specialties.

Advanced Fellowship Training

Dr. Satey continued his training with a highly competitive cosmetic surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) in La Jolla, California with the past AACS president. Dr. Satey continues his passion for research and leadership and serves as a distinguished member of the Board of Trustees with the prestigious California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (CACS).

Expertise in Cosmetic Procedures

Dr. Satey has emerged as an expert body sculptor with emphasis on High Definition (HD) VASER assisted liposculpting, Renuvion J-Plasma skin tightening, abdominal etching, HD tummy tucks, breast augmentations, breast lifts, upper and lower body lifts, Brazilian buttock lifts (BBLs), face and neck lifts, and the myriad facial surgical and non-surgical procedures to name a few.
